They said “Travonna you are a woman of wisdom.” I got excited not knowing the journey I would go through. Many will see her beauty. But the rare will see her scars. Relationships and I have a history. A history I am observing many of our youth are falling into. My work is simply to plant a seed of learning to love and respect YOURSELF from WITHIN.
An assignment I am struggling to process. But a whisper that says “you are the woman for the job.” 1 October 2019 goes in my journal as the day I accepted my assignment. An assignment I’ve known for so long but fear and insecurities held me back. Whether it’s on the stages, behind the screen or production, I will stride to share My Truth, which is my journey from my perspective.
I will stride to be Transparent with Myself, God and The Audience, whilst allowing The Holy Spirit to challenge my perspective. I will not compromise on my values. I will not lower my standards for the stage. My boundaries serve a purpose. A purpose only as unique to my heart. My work will challenge perspectives, heal hearts and mend bridges . See you soon!
